Network Engineer (m/f/x)

Your tasks

You are responsible for the planning, design, installation and administration of our internal network infrastructure and system infrastructure
Analyzing and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and network issues
Monitoring of the whole infrastructure to ensure the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure and connected IT systems
You evaluate the cost/benefit of different solutions and different technologies for the network architecture
You identify architectural issues and gaps in security concepts and propose recommendations for improvements to management - this includes routine audits of systems and software
You are responsible for the review and documentation for the configuration of internal network infrastructure
Lastly, you proactively promote the exchange of information from other departments to share ideas and make recommendations to resolve issues

You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation and operation of complex IT systems and globally distributed networks and thus have a sound and extensive knowledge of IT system and network architectures
