Senior Linux System Engineer (m/f/x)

Your tasks

Administration of Linux servers particularly RHEL/CentOS in a VMware virtualized environment
Operating our cloud services based on Java / JEE applications in a professional manner
Administration of standard software such as HAProxy/NGINX/Traefik, PostgreSQL, Juniper and AD/Freeipa/LDAP directory services
Close collaboration with the development department to support our DevOps strategy, especially IT automation with technologies such as Ansible, docker, git and Jenkins
Contributing internal and external projects
Network administration LAN/WAN and multi-datacenter operations

Degree in IT or equivalent graduation with several years of professional experience
Experience in certification and accreditation processes is highly appreciated
Experience in programming (Python) desirable
Familiarity with Terraform, Packer, Ansible is a plus
You are capable to implement your own ideas and skills independently or as part of a team
Good command of the German as well as English language written and spoken
