Systemadministrator (m/f/x) - IT Infrastructure

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the planning, design, installation and administration of our internal network infrastructure and system infrastructure and  for all IT infrastructure and network issues
  • You ensure the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure and connected IT systems
  • You evaluate the cost/benefit of different solutions and different technologies for the system architecture
  • You identify architectural issues and gaps in security concepts and propose recommendations for improvements to management; this includes routine audits of systems and software; The review and documentation for the configuration of internal network infrastructure and system infrastructure is your responsibility
  • Lastly, you proactively promote the exchange of information from other departments to share ideas and make recommendations to resolve issues

Your profile

  • You have completed training as an IT specialist (system integration) or have a comparable qualification
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation and operation of complex IT systems and globally distributed networks and thus have a sound and extensive knowledge of IT system and network architectures
  • We rely on your sound expertise in the areas listed below:
  • Network Technologies (Cisco Switches, Cisco Firewalls)
  • Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Virtualization Technologies (VMWare ESXi and VMWare vCenter)
  • Storage Systems (SAN based and iSCSI based)
  • IT Automation and Scripting (e.g.. Security (IDS/IPS, SIEM and penetration tests)
  • Your distinctive analytical and always structured way of working you use skillfully
  • Very good German and English skills in speech and writing complete your profile
