Technical Account Manager (m/f/x)

As a Technical Account Manager for Utimaco you will focus on LI and DR business, you will be primarily responsible for implementing projects from requirements to completion and final customer acceptance. Your tasks will also include providing post-sales support to customers + partners for technical incidents.

Your tasks

  • The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted Utimaco services at the client site, client satisfaction, engagement, and retention
  • Responsible for smooth resolution of Utimaco related issues as the technical contact person for the customers and partners allocated to you
  • Required to report project status on a weekly basis
  • Submit proposed solution on basis of the Utimaco products
  • Support the client provide technical support to customers by answering telephone calls and emails in line with departmental measures with a focus on high quality
  • Resolve problems by monitoring and maintaining the Network Nodes, LI & DR solutions systems, and networks within an organisation in a technical support role

Your profile

  • You have UK security industry experience
  • You have an academic degree in a technical discipline as well as several years’ experience as a technical project manager
  • You have a good technical understanding, ideally experience within the telecommunication industry
  • You recognize and understand our partners and customer’s needs
  • You´re familiar and prepared to support modern telecommunication networks, network elements, Firewalls, and protocols
  • System Support experience for high-assurance systems
  • Strong knowledge
    • TCP/IP at packet level
    • UNIX and RedHat Linux
    • LAN/WAN, VPN, SSL, Firewalls, Switch/Router
    • VoIP, SIP and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a plus
    • TLS/SSL, IPSEC
    • Network Nodes IIF
  • Qualifying experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working with Telcos, CSPs or in a regulatory / compliance-heavy role
  • Proven ability to develop new skills effectively
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports
  • Eligible for Security Clearance
  • UK driving License
  • Must be able to travel national and international
