Your tasks
- Primarily responsible for implementing projects from requirements to completion and final customer acceptance
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted Utimaco services at the client site, client satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- 2nd – 4th Line Support activities, with focus on Tier3 (incident resolution and ticket management)
- Supporting the wider engineering team (Product and Solution owners, technical pre-sales, infrastructure support and Service Mgt) with deployment and support SME input
- Resolve problems by monitoring and maintaining the LI & DR solutions systems and networks within an organisation in a technical support role
- Scoping, governance and conduct of maintenance and hardware/software refresh projects for deployed systems
- Assist customers with upgrades of hardware and software
- Maintenance and improvement of continuous integration testing environments
- Responsible for smooth resolution of Utimaco related issues as the technical contact person for customers and partners
Your profile
- UK security industry experience
- Academic degree in a technical discipline as well as several years’ experience as a technical support
- 5+ years’ experience in high tech, preferably in telecom operators and experience in UK security industry
- UK Security Check (SC) clearance is mandatory and required for this role, sponsor process
- System Support experience for high-assurance systems
- Good technical understanding, ideally experience within the telecommunication industry
- Knowledge of networking essentials (LAN/WAN, VPN, SSL, Firewalls, Switch/Router)
- Experience working with Telcos, CSPs or in a regulatory / compliance-heavy role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP at packet level, UNIX and RedHat Linux
- You´re familiar with modern telecommunication networks, network elements, Firewalls, and telecom protocols
- Experience of VoIP, SIP and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a plus
- Ability to recognize and understand our partners and customer’s needs
- Sociable, goal-oriented, and conscientious
- UK driving License and you are open to travel Europe and International
