Review of Utimaco’s Consultant and Reseller Certification Training
We are pleased to announce that two weeks ago we held our annual Consultant and Reseller Certification Training event. The training took place at the new office of our US headquarters in Campbell, CA. This comprehensive 4-day event attracted 17 attendees from all over the Americas. The agenda covered a wide range of topics, primarily focusing on how to best use hardware cryptography to meet the industry’s quickly changing data security needs. Time and time again, without adequate security mechanisms in place, enterprises fall victim to cyber-attack. You don’t leave your car keys in your car which is why you shouldn’t leave your secrets and private keys next to your encrypted data, but rather store them in tamper-evident and intrusion-resistant Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). The event was designed to provide hands-on training, focused on how to securely deploy and manage encryption keys and certificates in HSMs, covering industry trends as well as emerging technologies. The training did not only bring together some of the most prominent industry consultants and resellers, but also served as a forum for networking and insightful industry discussions.
