Network Engineer (m/f/x)

Deine Aufgaben

• You are responsible for the planning, design, installation and administration of our internal network infrastructure and system infrastructure
• Analyzing and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and network issues
• Monitoring of the whole infrastructure to ensure the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure and connected IT systems
• You evaluate the cost/benefit of different solutions and different technologies for the network architecture
• You identify architectural issues and gaps in security concepts and propose recommendations for improvements to management - this includes routine audits of systems and software
• You are responsible for the review and documentation for the configuration of internal network infrastructure
• Lastly, you proactively promote the exchange of information from other departments to share ideas and make recommendations to resolve issues

Dein Profil

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation and operation of complex IT systems and globally distributed networks and thus have a sound and extensive knowledge of IT system and network architectures
• We rely on your sound expertise in the areas listed below:
  • Network Technologies
    • Cisco Catalyst 9xxx and Nexus Switches
    • Cisco Firepower Firewalls and Firepower Management Center
    • Cisco DNA including ISE
    • Cisco Secure Network Analytics
    • Cisco ESA
  • TCP/IP
  • DCIM & IPAM tools (e.g., NetBox)
  • IaC tools (e.g., Ansible)
  • SIEM tools (e.g., GrayLog)
  • System monitoring (e.g., CheckMK)
  • Network analyzing tools (e.g., tcpdump and wireshark)
• Your distinctive analytical and always structured way of working you use skillfully
• Very good English skills in speech and writing complete your profile
