Your tasks
To ensure the expected quality of a Utimaco product, the QA Engineer will provide quality assurance support to the product development team, resolving bugs, defects, and other issues and ensuring the product meets customer specifications.
- Set up a test automation strategy for the new Restful API of Utimaco.
- Define and develop test cases for new Restful API using fuzzing tools.
- Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Use API testing tools to ensure the functionality and performance of our APIs.
- Integrate automated Test Suites in CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct load and performance testing to ensure our services can handle expected traffic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and world-wide teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Set up a flexible test environment with hardware integration (HSM).
- Create and bug tickets.
- Perform security testing and analysis with code analysis and dependency tools.
Your profile
- Experience with Java programming
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Develop test programs and prepare test data according to the functional specifications.
- Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills.
- Experience with integration testing between applications.
- Interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent spoken and written command of English.
- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar technical degree.
Nice to have:
- Experience with API generation tools (e.g., OpenAPI Generator).
- Experience with modern API Fuzzer.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Experience in a mocking framework.
- Experience with gitlab and gitlab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Python.
