In order to further strengthen our Telecommunication Solutions business unit we are looking for a Senior Application Engineer.

Your tasks

  • Manage and select hardware and software of the company
  • Select, install and maintain tools to meet required standards in software and hardware installations
  • Work with the IT security advisor to configure our systems in the most efficient way to secure the environment
  • Define, document, communicate and govern the standards for the applications used
  • Provide platform and operating system support to members of the own organization
  • Develop and implement concepts for application landscape
  • Work with third party support providers to solve issues and proactively improve our environment

Your profile

  • Training as a technician or IT Specialist for System Integration
  • Working experience in comparable environment for 5 years or more 
  • Storage solutions knowlege as well as experience in Windows Server/Exchange/Groupware(e.g. Teams) and Network (TCP/IP, Client/Server, HTTP, FTP, IPsec, SNMP, VPN, LDAP)
  • Experience in administration of servers including VM setups
  • Experience in in administration of heterogeneous environments
