Fully Functional Trial

vESKM is available as a fully functional 60-day trial of the virtual version of Enterprise Secure Key Manager (ESKM).

Pre-Configuration Included

It comes as a pre-configured virtual appliance, ready for implementation and utilization in your digital environment.

vESKM provides the same functionalities and security as ESKM, but without the need for hardware installation.

For which organization or user is the vESKM test version recommended?

vESKM is a great start for any organizations’ key management journey or the perfect option to try before you buy when migrating from your existing KMS vendor.

Within the 60-day free trial period you can leverage from the full potential of vESKM, utilizing all its features and functionalities, and hence, discover the superior key management capabilities of ESKM, our flagship product for centralized and secure key management.

How do I access the vESKM trial version?

To access the trial version of vESKM, you have to create an account on the support portal Utimaco portal.

After registration, we will have to verify your provided information for export compliance reasons – this verification process can take up to 48 hours. After the successful completion of the export control check, you will be granted access to the Utimaco download portal.

At the portal, go to the section “Simulators” and choose vESKM.

Can I continue managing my key inventory after the trial period ends?

Yes! After the free trial period ends, you can seamlessly migrate to the full version of vESKM, providing the same virtual appliance and FIPS 140-2 Level 1 security.

In case you want to utilize the capabilities and features of ESKM but require another FIPS security level (FIPS 140-2 Level 2 and higher / FIPS 140-3), reach out to your Sales contact or get in touch with us to receive an individual offer for a hardware-based version of ESKM.

Is vESKM an equivalent to Enterprise Secure Key Manager?

Yes and no. vESKM is one of the four deployment options of ESKM.

While vESKM is the virtual version of ESKM, deployed as a virtual appliance and providing key protection according to the requirements of FIPS 140-2 Level 1, the other three deployment options are based on a physical hardware appliance and provide security levels for FIPS 140-2 Level 2 – 4, respectively FIPS 140-3 Level 3.
