Senior Support Engineer

Location: Aachen

Your tasks

  • As a member of our support team, you will be the contact person for our customers and partners; this also in 7x24h use;  
  • You will receive technical problems and work out solutions and opportunities for improvement in close cooperation with the development department;
  • You will support our customers in the support of the systems and, in addition to product configuration, you will also deal with the RedHat Linux-based OS environment;
  • You will carry out application tests and support development and product management in the market launch of new features and products
  • You independently plan service assignments at the customer's site and are responsible for their implementation, also on site at the customer's site.

Your profile

  • You have several years of professional experience in direct customer support.
  • You have a very good technical understanding and grasp complex technical situations quickly. The administration and configuration of Linux servers or other Unix-based platforms does not present you with challenges;
  • You enjoy communicating directly with the customer and are goal-oriented and conscientious;
  • Very good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, databases and Unix tools such as shell scripting and network analyzers round off your profile;
  • Fluent German as well as English skills are mandatory for dealing with our international customers;
