Utimaco continues strategic partnership with Mexico-based CEGA Security, the first Value-Added Distributor in the region, announcing an alliance to deliver certified training for Utimaco solutions in Latin America.

AACHEN, Germany – August 2018 – Utimaco, the world’s second largest manufacturer of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) that provide the Root of Trust to many industries, and Mexico-based cybersecurity specialist, CEGA Security, today announced an alliance to deliver certified training for Utimaco solutions in Latin America – first of its kind in the region. This latest development in the partnership will make Utimaco’s Hardware Security Modules and CEGA Security’s Training, Technical Support and Professional Services available to Value-Added Resellers and System Integrators throughout Latin America.
As businesses and public-sector organizations across the region seek to meet fiscal regulations as well as enhanced cybersecurity compliance mandates, the use of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) is expected to become more prevalent. Electronic invoicing and digital signatures are some of the business drivers leading to the wider adoption of HSMs, specifically in Mexico and Latin America.
