Senior Network Engineer

In order to further strengthen our Telecommunication Solutions business unit we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer.

Your tasks

  • Manage and select hardware and software for the network Environment
  • Select, install and maintain tools to meet required standards in software and hardware installations
  • Work with the IT security advisor to configure our systems in the most efficient way to safeguard the Environment
  • Define, document, communicate and govern the standards for the network
  • Provide network support to members of the own organization
  • Works with third party support providers to solve issues and proactively improve our Environment

Your profile

  • Training as a technician or IT specialist
  • Working experience in comparable environment for 5 years or more
  • WLAN/LAN networking as well as administration of network infrastructure (firewall, switches, access points, etc.) knowledge
  • Automatic setup of components (e.g. via scripting) knowledge
  • Experience in administration of heterogeneous environments
  • Network experience (TCP/IP, Client/Server, HTTP, FTP, IPsec, SNMP, VPN, LDAP)
