Diebold Nixdorf joins Utimaco’s U-Trust Partner Program

Effective immediately, the two companies are entering into a technology partnership to jointly deliver cyber security solutions to the financial sector

Aachen, Germany & Campbell (CA), USA, November 28, 2019 – Utimaco, a leading provider of professional IT security solutions, and Diebold Nixdorf, the world’s leading IT service provider for banks, will work together to help banks to address their cyber security challenges proactively. The agreement calls for Utimaco’s Atalla product line to be offered as part of Diebold Nixdorf’s portfolio.

Utimaco’s Atalla hardware security modules (HSM) have been specially developed for the banking sector and are PCI 3.0-certified. Customers who use Atalla technology are prepared for the challenges arising both from traditional IT environments as well as from new multi-cloud requirements. Atalla HSM are used by leading players in the payment market such as issuers, service providers, acquirers, processors and payment networks worldwide to protect their payment ecosystems and achieve the highest possible level of compliance. Here, Utimaco plays a decisive role in securing interbank communication, user and card authentication and in protecting user data.
